eyeDactic Limited Edition app for iPhone and iPad

This application enables the owner of the iOS device to correlate iOS app usage with location data. It answers the question: What app was used at what location and when? The eyeDactic iOS application is designed to run in the background and does not interfere with day-to-day usage of the iOS device. Data results are displayed in the app and optionally on a remote server.

The data collected and displayed is solely for the benefit of the device owner. No information is provided to any 3rd party entity.

This application is intended to be used by parents whose children use iOS devices at home and at school. Or for school administrators who need to monitor iPad usage on campus.

This application creates a history of the childs activity. The applicaton does not block content and therefore is not considered "parental control software". Neither is eyeDactic considered to be "spyware", because it displays the collected data on the childs device.

The eyeDactic applicaton is the first tool of its kind to motivate both parents and children to work together to make the most productive and educational use of their iOS device by measuring app usage by location over time.

Please note that this app is designed to run in background mode and uses the devices location services. As such, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
